Pirates of the Caribbean Online: Tips and Cheats

So you need help with Pirates of the Caribbean online Quest?

For instance, if you're on the quest after you sink 3 ships - it tells you to return to Bastien Craven. But where in the world of Pirates of the Caribbean is located?

Easy - it's rumrunners isle. Note wthat after that you will need to sink 2 more ships.

And here is quick list of useful Pirates of the Caribbean online tips:

1) Save those “up-your-sleeve” cards that you earn in certain quests for high stakes Poker games to win some major gold.

2) If you plan to go solo most of the time, the galleon may be your ship of choice. What you lose in broadsides and crew space, you make up for in cargo room. More cargo space, more gold.

3) A fast way to level up your cannon skill is to go to Tortuga, then head toward Kingshead. Find a lone Warlord ship, set all your cannons for long range, and fire them all at the ship simultaneously. Sink it as it comes towards you. It’s worth 100 points.

4) Some quests reward you with a new weapon skill, like grenades or Voodoo Dolls (in a quest given by Tia Dalma). Drop everything else and finish those quests right away.

5) Get the Take Cover skill. Activate the skill when you see a volley of enemy incoming cannon fire to automatically avoid it, at least until they reload.

6) The more you use a weapon or skill, the faster you level up. When you get a chance, take out that extra crab, skeleton, or guard.

How do you set the ships cannons (Broadsides) to long range or short range? There is no such setting.

Second, the Galleons have MORE broadsides so you don't give anything up if you are a solo pirate.
The reason the Frigates are a better crew ship is because you have 2 or 4 (in the War frigate) forward facing cannons & 2 or 4 (in the War Frigate rear facing cannons.

Just clearifying what you might have meant.

Also suggest you ask people in the game what to spend weapon skill points on & what not to waste your precious few 25 skill points on.

It can make the difference between a strong pirate and one that has trouble with pirates that they should be able to easily beat.

Try and keep a few quest in your quest log at a time. Sometimes its just plain luck but several times i've had essentially the same requirements complete two quests at once. And as you'll find out, it can takes weeks of a lot of hours of playing to complete the recover the Black Pearl Quest.
So don't waste your time out plundering without a purpose. As SO SO SO SO SO SO SOOOOO many of the quests require you to sink x amount of navy and EITC ships. You'll be rich enough to buy any boat you want if you just concentrate on completing your quests and Leveling (staying in one of the areas that allow you to kill enemies fast ...some having healing stations there to speed up the health recovery process).

REMBER WHAT I SAID SPEND YOUR WEAPON SKILL POINTS WISELY. YOU CAN'T GET EVERY SUB SKILL FULL AND SOME WEAPONS HAVE JUST TERRIBLE / WORTHLESS SKILL FEATURES.
